I am going to travel the world with my family. We are flying to Hawaii, taking a cruise ship to New Zealand, then going to Australia and wherever else looks like fun. My dad is a musician and will be playing shows along the way. You can find out more about him at davidlynchmusic.com This is the commentary of my experiences.
Anything helps. I am not trying to pan-handle. All profits go towards the family trip.

Day 72
I have made it safely back to Christchurch and am getting ready to leave New Zealand on Thursday. We head out of here at 6 a.m. and are landing in Melbourne, Australia. We have a lot to do to prepare, but are looking forward to a new adventure. Let me give some details about the past few days. My dad played well at his gig in Nelson, and then we kept driving. We then saw a lot more sights (The clearest body of freshwater in the world, glow worms, a filming sight in the making for The Hobbit, pet a baby sheep, etc.) We have been camping out all over the Northern part of the southern island in a new place almost daily. We also got to swim in the Tasman Sea, which was a little bit cold, but great. We have a 6 berth camper to relocate in Australia and then will most likely be housesitting. We also got an offer to spend the holidays with a big Aussie family that sounds like fun. I will have wifi until the flight, so I'll try to get another post in.

Hey Declan
ReplyDeleteWe've been enjoying reading your blog. We miss all of you, but it sounds like you are having an awesome adventure. Did you guys catch up with Hyram in Dunedin? I hope so! It sounds like you really got to see a lot of the countryside; it's quite beautiful there and laid back.
I hope you will enjoy Australia also! Keep writing....
Tell Carey to watch out for Old Gregg!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone & lots of love from Antoinette, Torrey & Veriamo
Somewhere near Bunyip State Park, buy some seed to see the Crimson Rosellas and Sulphur-crested Cockatoos.

Sorry that I haven't replied to these comments. We have been really busy and without wifi. We did get to see Hiram, Antoinette. And I will relay that info to my parents, Uncle Wayne.
